Q: Do we carry Insurance?
A: YES, we carry a full liability policy. We would be happy to supply you with a copy at your request. Please give us at least 48 hours notice as we have to put in a request to our insurance company.

Q: Do you charge for estimates?
A: No, estimates are FREE. Having an estimate does NOT obligate you to use our company. We like to set up a specific appointments so that we can meet with you, the property owner. This ensures that we are giving you an estimate for exactly the work that you want done. It also gives us the opportunity to meet you, understand your needs and answer your questions. If your not available to meet with us you can mark your trees with marking tape or spray paint.

Q: Do you charge for "insurance estimates"?
A: Yes, we would be happy to supply you with an estimate that you can submit to your insurance company. These are typically requested when a tree has fallen or a vehicle has caused damage to property. We do charge a $100.00 fee that must be paid before you get your estimate. You will be reimbursed from your insurance company. We charge for this because insurance estimates take more time and often multiple conversations with the insurance company which can be very time consuming.

Q: Do you remove the logs after my tree work is done?
A: We can leave the logs for you to use for firewood or remove them. The logs will be left as logs, they will not be cut up into firewood size pieces. You can request a price to have them cut into more manageable pieces or firewood length pieces.

Q: When are the logs removed?
A: We have a different crew that removes the logs from your property. Sometimes it's the same day that the trees are cut down, otherwise it's within several days.

Q: Do you grind stumps?
A: Yes, we have a contractor that we have been using for years to grind stumps. We would be happy to set up the appointment for you.

Q: How deep does the stump get ground?
A: Approximately 6" below soil level.

Q: Do you remove the debris left over from the stump grinding?
A: No, however, we can give you a price to have it removed.
The grindings that are left from the stump is similar to shavings or wood chips. Most people choose to fill the hole with the left over grindings and cover with topsoil.
